Kenya & Tanzania 2016
In March, Natasha visited Kenya to deliver the certificates of completion to a small Bible School held in Nimbale, Kenya. Brian, an alumni of the 2015 Kakamega school, burned with the desire to share the good news of the Gospel to the people in his home village. He began as quickly as he could and has 15 students who are all older than him yet they respect him as their teacher. Brian said that many students as him, "why were you not born sooner so you could have told us all this truth sooner!" Many were steeped in Catholic tradition and did not know the life that is ours through Christ, the entire class desired to be baptized and they continue to be filled with joy as they learn about their place in Christ. Brian took it upon himself to teach through the entire school, he does it according to our guidelines so he earns no pay and charges nothing for the privilege of sharing God's word. He said "I came into the world with nothing, and I will leave with nothing, so all that matters is to do the work of God." There are more than 10 students in surrounding villages waiting for him to complete the 6.5 months teaching in Nimbale so he can come to their village and teach them too.
The last three images to the right are of the school in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. The word of God has inspired each one and they can hardly contain their joy when reporting all that they've learned. Busola taught the Divine Healing and Holy Spirit course. I (Natasha) recorded her teaching the Divine Healing series to complete the English/Swahili audio project I worked on last year in Kakamega, Kenya. Now it is complete and will be online and available shortly. We thank God for all the ways he is opening doors across the nations, transforming hearts and bringing his hope to the broken.
The Two Witness Bible School was invited to Kenya in 2014. In 2015 Tim Cline opened the second school in Kakamega, Kenya where the full school was Video and Audio recorded by Natasha Smith. For nearly 7 Months students grew daily in their understanding of scripture and after Moral Government, taught by Peter Smith, the students completed the curriculum. Joyous faces and fantastic testimonies encouraged all in attendance that God is a God who can be known and who is active in meeting the needs of those who look to him. Some students knew very little English, but told us through interpreters of the wonderful work God did in their lives through the Bible school. One student rode his bicycle nearly 30 miles on rugged roads each day to attend class, he beamed with joy as he reported how much God instructed him through his time at the school. He now has a greater understanding of truth to share with the small congregation he pastors in his village.
2013 Nigeria & Rwanda
God did extraordinary things during 2011. Peter Smith and his daughter, Natasha traveled to Nigeria opening schools Central Nigeria and partaking in the graduation ceremonies in Lagos. Then, Flying to Kigali, Rwanda, Peter taught through the Moral Government of God. The weekends provided additional opportunities to preach and pray for sincere believers across the country of Rwanda.
